Position Responsibilities
Obtain sales by canvassing door‑to‑door, using proven sales techniques along with your skill set to meet and exceed company sales targets.
Complete appropriate paperwork and present payment options for customer purchases.
Canvass door‑to‑door daily from 11am to 8pm.
Receive performance updates from immediate supervisor or manager.
Travel within Mediacom territory, including potentially state‑to‑state travel up to two weeks at a time, with transportation, lodging, and food allowance covered.
Engage in community ambassador activities such as presenting in team meetings, training field associates, leading conference calls, or helping plan events.
Position Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
One year of direct sales or outside/field sales experience preferred but not required.
Sales‑driven, success‑oriented team player with a positive people orientation.
Valid driver’s license with satisfactory record, proof of auto insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with internet‑related devices (tablets, smartphones, routers, modems, etc.).
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to travel to and from assigned territories and company office locations.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Some cities require solicitor’s permits for door‑to‑door sales; candidates must complete required city application.

Salary Disclosure The salary for this position is $60,000.00 the first year. Total target compensation (TTC) is base plus commission. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package.
