The Data and Analytics Manager will lead development and implementation of the company data strategy and AI-driven solutions across the company. Responsible for creating complex and efficient ETL maps, analytic models of descriptive and prescriptive nature, highly intuitive data models, reports and dash boards and lead migrations from different environments. Provides recommendations to management and business clients, and identifies best technology solutions. Identifies future needs for key technologies and techniques and develops plans for adoption. The Manager will lead a diverse team and collaborate across departments to design, build, and execute data-driven initiatives that directly contribute to the company's growth and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Leads a cross-functional team that designs, develops, and deploys AI/ML models, cloud data solutions, and data science strategies to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
Drive the transition to modern data platforms (cloud, AI/ML, big data tools) to ensure scalable and efficient data management, improving data accessibility, processing time, and decision-making speed.
Oversee the development and execution of data architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational goals.
Spearhead the integration of advanced data techniques, to optimize business outcomes and enhance analytical capabilities.
Build real-time data pipelines, leveraging cloud technologies (e.g., Azure Stream Analytics, Event Hubs) to process and analyze data from IoT devices and other sources, improving operational efficiency.
Collaborate with business leaders and technical teams to define and prioritize AI/ML initiatives that drive business results, increase operational efficiencies, and reduce costs.
Manage the migration of legacy data systems to modern cloud infrastructures, ensuring cost reduction, performance improvement, and business continuity.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in management information systems (MIS), computer science, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience. (Typically six years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)
A minimum of six years of experience in business intelligence software application design, development, integration and/or installation.
Skills
Advanced Software Engineering & Security:
Strong programming knowledge with expertise in application security models, system integration, and modern development tools.
Deep experience with Oracle DRM, Oracle Essbase, OBIEE, Oracle BI Applications, and the Oracle BI Foundation Suite.
Expert in data modeling, code design, and optimizing data loading and reporting performance.
Highly skilled in SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, packages, and both Oracle and Microsoft database technologies.
Business Intelligence & Integration:
Strong background in BI tools and integrating large-scale, distributed enterprise systems in a fault tolerant, standards aligned manner.
Effective project management, multi-tasking, and prioritization capabilities; works well in a zero code ownership environment.
Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Solid understanding of IT systems, tools, functions, and major technology vendors; expert in deployment topologies for secure and highly available systems.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Strengths:
Strong analytical skills with sound decision making abilities.
Available for periodic on call responsibilities.
Preferences
Experience integrating Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) solutions within an environment with strong change and release management processes and procedures.
Technical knowledge of Oracle OBIEE 11g and Oracle Warehouse builder technologies, stored procedures and packages.
Technical knowledge with hands‑on experience in Oracle database development, ETL, SQL, and PL/SQL.
Technical knowledge with hands‑on experience in Oracle business intelligence foundation suite of tools, Oracle publisher, Essbase, Informatica, Data relationship management, ODI, Financial data management, Hyperion financial management.
Understanding of company's existing IT environment and of applicable company policies, practices, and procedures.
