Job Summary The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, developing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and ensuring system compliance and security. This role involves automating processes to improve development efficiency, conducting root‑cause analysis for production issues, and integrating AWS and Azure services into existing infrastructure. The DevOps Engineer collaborates with development teams to implement new features while ensuring adherence to best practices in software development. Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Monitor system performance and manage source code, ensuring operations reports are accurate. Ensure systems are updated, compliant with standards, and secure against cyber threats. Develop and maintain on‑premises tooling solutions. Automate processes to enhance development efficiency and outcomes. Conduct root‑cause analysis for production issues to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with development teams to integrate new software features. Oversee the integration of AWS and Azure services into the existing infrastructure. Skill Level Requirements Knowledge of AWS and Azure Cloud Platforms and associated services. Basic expertise in project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum. Basic knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs) and security concepts, with experience managing network threats and security solutions. Basic ability to use version control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps. Basic competence in managing and maintaining Active Directory, AWS, VMware, and Windows Server platforms. Basic ability to use tools such as Jenkins, Groovy, Terraform, Splunk, Git, CodeCommit, and SonarSource. Basic ability to design, develop, and integrate APIs. Other Requirements Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience. 1–3 years of experience in cloud computing. 1–3 years of experience in a similar role. 1–3 years of experience in AWS or Azure preferred. Pay and Benefits Estimated annual pay range: $90,000 – $145,000 (includes base salary). Compensation depends on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
