As the Manufacturing Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving sales and revenue growth within our manufacturing network. You will provide leadership to the sales team, focusing on expanding market share and optimizing sales performance. The objective is to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and sales efficiency that deliver optimal revenue growth at reduced operational costs across the manufacturing operations, with year-over-year support to ensure continuous improvement and sustained performance.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage Sales Team: Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team, ensuring they meet sales targets.
  • Develop Sales Strategies: Create and implement strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Analyze Sales Data: Review and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competition.
  • Training and Mentoring: Train and mentor the sales team to improve performance and skills.
  • Collaboration: Work with the manufacturing teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate prices and contracts with clients and suppliers.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage the sales budget to ensure profitability.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is generally required.
  • A master's degree in business administration (MBA) or marketing is preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in sales, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • 3 plus years of experience leading teams
  • Experience in creating and implementing sales strategies, budgeting, and sales forecasting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze sales data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
