Creature Comforts is hiring an experienced veterinary assistant. The role is full-time with a schedule of Wednesday to Saturday, four ten-hour shifts. The salary is negotiable and based on experience.

As a veterinary assistant, you will support veterinarians and technicians with patient care, treatments, and procedures, assist with patient handling, restraint, and comfort, help maintain efficient workflow, communicate with clients, coworkers, and doctors with professionalism and empathy, support dental, anesthesia, laser therapy, and other advanced services as trained, maintain clean, stocked, and organized treatment and exam areas, participate in ongoing training and development opportunities, and contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-focused hospital culture.
We are looking for veterinary assistants with previous experience, a highly positive attitude, strong communication skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, confidence taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities, strong awareness of what needs to be done and the initiative to help make it happen, willingness to ask for help and offer help to others, empathy for clients, patients, coworkers, and yourself, and a desire to continue learning and growing professionally.
