Well-established, growing, premier manufacturer is seeking a Site Controller to focus on cost, analysis and inventory for this diverse, complex manufacturing location. The qualified individual will report to the CFO and support the CEO and senior management team in making sound financial decisions. This position will have direct reports at this privately-held company. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Support, manage, develop and coach the cost accounting team
- Complete heavy analysis related to machine/labor costs, etc.
- Review sales and understand profit margins
- Focus on cost and inventory strategies
- Lead and complete complex individual cost and finance projects
- Perform ad hoc reporting, support and analysis
- Assist with new equipment quotes and ROI analysis based on the needs of the plant
- Participate in board meetings and be the cost/finance expert by offering support and giving presentations
- Involved with auditing
- Provide counsel and advise the executive leadership team with analysis of sales, ROI, CapEx, inventory, etc.
- Complete month-end procedures, reporting and cost functions
- Other duties as directed by the CEO

Qualified candidates will be promotable, team oriented, progressive and able to learn new procedures and company operations. Candidates should be able to build relationships with their peers and the management team while being patient during the learning and onboarding process. Candidates must possess the skill set to lead a team of cost professionals. Requirements for the Site Controller:
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in Finance or Accounting
- A minimum of five years in a similar managerial, controller or director level position
- Experience working in manufacturing environments; complex manufacturing is highly preferred
- Experience processing month-end and year-end close
- Strong complex cost accounting skills
- Heavy financial analysis experience
- ERP Experience
- Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
Skills preferred but NOT required:
- Complex manufacturing environments
- MBA
Candidates are required to be local to the Tiffin, OH area; a relocation package is offered to regional candidates having all of the required skill sets with a desire to move to the greater Tiffin, OH area.
