About InterDataLink We are a NYC‑based managed IT services provider serving small and mid‑sized businesses across the NY/NJ metro since 2009. We hire engineers and technicians who care about the work, communicate clearly, and treat clients well. Our team includes senior network engineers, cloud architects, cybersecurity specialists, and field technicians. Desktop Support Technician Hybrid role (mix of remote, on‑site at our office, and client visits as appropriate). Reports to the Director of Engineering. Responsibilities Provide tier 1 and tier 2 helpdesk support via phone, email, and remote tools Resolve desktop, software, account, and connectivity issues Document tickets, escalate appropriately, follow up to resolution Set up new employee workstations and onboarding Image and deploy Windows and Mac computers Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common business software Requirements 1+ year in IT helpdesk or related support role Windows 10/11 and macOS proficiency Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing) CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent (or willing to obtain) Eager to learn and grow into senior roles Compensation $45,000 – $60,000 per year.
