Summary Act in a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based data solutions. Create scalable data pipelines, optimizing data storage solutions, and ensure data integrity and security in the CAE C/HPC environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Support the development of open architectures and applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms to ensure they are best suited for cloud deployment and consumption. Support the adoption of cloud best practices and supporting technologies to enable such capabilities such as Big Data/Analytics. Design, develop, troubleshoot, and implement cloud solutions. Work closely with the Information Technology Security team to ensure the applications and solutions designed and deployed are secure and compliant. Effectively interface with customer personnel at varying organizational levels. Be self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Report status on tasks and assignments. Generate preliminary and detailed designs as required for enhancements or modifications to existing designs. Perform effectively as part of a project team. Qualifications and Education Requirements BA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field required. Minimum of 5+ years of hands‑on experience in a specific technology practice (Infrastructure, Storage, Security, Windows, Linux, etc.) for both on‑premise and cloud resources. Minimum 5+ years of networking and server operating system experience. Minimum 5+ years experience in container management technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience using a source code repository such as Git. Experience using a defect management system such as Jira. Experience using Bash, Python and PowerShell scripting languages. Proven success in a fast‑paced development environment and willingness to take ownership, accept accountability, and thrive under pressure. Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions. Proven track record of building relationships, fostering collaboration and working cross‑functionally with multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Skills Ability to work well in a team environment. Excellent communication skills. Ability to self‑task and explore areas for improvement on your own. Security Responsibilities Must comply with all company security and data protection/usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information or afford access to employees not having a need‑to‑know. Shall not divulge information outside the company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company‑provided resources. Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance. Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, and datacenter environments. Physical Demands Ability to work at a desk for eight hours. Must be able to travel to domestic sites. Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
