Responsibilities
What You’ll Do Analyze & Discover Apply advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques to uncover valuable insights. Evaluate business performance, financial models, and competitive positioning. Work across departments to study and integrate diverse data sources.
Turn Data into Action Translate complex analysis into clear, compelling recommendations. Present insights that influence decisions at all levels of the organization.
Measure & Optimize Help develop key metrics, dashboards, and performance indicators. Support strategic, operational, and financial initiatives through data-driven insights.
Monitor & Evolve Track the success of business initiatives and recommend improvements. Ensure alignment with Cobb EMC’s mission and long-term strategy.
Qualifications
What You Bring Required: Bachelor’s
Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Statistics.
Minimum
two years working experience in utility generation planning, financial forecasting, rates, production cost modeling, budgeting, planning and forecasting, data mining or equivalent experience.
Working
experience with databases, database access, data interpretation, strategy development, process improvement and data presentation.
Preferred: Experience
in the energy industry
Experience
with electric rate design and strategy
Master’s
Degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Statistics or related field
Possesses
a working knowledge of statistics, programming and predictive modeling.
