Position We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing strategies and marketing programs to ensure our products are represented and serviced in all accounts.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B.A) from a four‑year college or university, or minimum of five (5) years related experience
Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license and ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance in accordance with State laws.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to collaborate with key suppliers and advance positive relationships.
Ability to use financial analysis to generate, evaluate, and act on strategic options and opportunities.
Ability to establish clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments.
Proficient working knowledge of computer applications, such as word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, email, and specialized business applications; presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of management.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Your Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and initiatives.
Conduct meetings with Brand Managers to develop monthly PFP objectives and monitor effectiveness of current programming.
Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop team skills and ensure programs are properly executed in the market.
Direct sales development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals.
Coach, direct, and lead district sales manager team to ensure maximum sales impact; define specific team expectations, monitor progress, and participate in counseling sessions with district sales managers when expectations are not met or exceeded.
Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
Meet with key clients, assist sales representatives with maintaining relationships, and negotiate and close deals.
Analyze and control expenditures of the division to conform to budgetary requirements.
Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and distribution opportunities; develop monthly sales volume and revenue forecasts.
Monitor and evaluate the activities, products, and pricing/promotions of the competition.
Work with district sales managers to coordinate recruiting and hiring of sales and merchandising staff.
Prepare for and participate in branch process audits; direct district sales managers and ensure quantity and quality of required audit documentation.
Maintain records and prepare for annual Miller/Coors Quality Audit; monitor rotation and code dates for all suppliers to ensure quality in the market.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift twenty‑five pounds at a time.
Work Environment This role requires regular, ongoing in‑office presence. Employees are expected to work onsite, including non‑company locations where business is conducted, the majority of the time to support collaboration, productivity, and operations according to the schedule set by supervisors and/or branch management.
