Hybrid role based in Pittsburgh, PA, with 3 days working from home each week and in-office collaboration as needed. Note:
Candidates must be admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and have at least 1+ year of civil litigation experience. Insurance defense experience is strongly preferred, and admission to the Ohio and/or West Virginia bars is a plus. Job Description Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution Work on cases involving auto liability, premises liability, construction litigation, product liability, insurance coverage, and related defense matters Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and case evaluations Conduct legal research and develop case strategy with supervising attorneys and partners Manage discovery, prepare witnesses, and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation Communicate with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel Take ownership of files while receiving guidance from experienced litigation attorneys Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on professionalism, responsiveness, and strong client outcomes Qualifications JD from an accredited law school Active Pennsylvania Bar admission required 1+ year of civil litigation experience required Experience with insurance defense, auto liability, premises liability, construction litigation, product liability, or insurance coverage preferred Ability to handle litigation tasks from case inception through resolution Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills Ohio and/or West Virginia Bar admission is a plus Writing sample required Why You Will Love Working Here This is a great opportunity for a litigation attorney who wants real case responsibility, mentorship, and long-term growth within a respected civil litigation practice while also having meaningful work-from-home flexibility.
