Responsibilities
Administer and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and data center network infrastructure.
Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure maximum uptime.
Implement network security policies, access controls, segmentation, and firewall rules.
Manage network upgrades, firmware updates, patching, and infrastructure lifecycle activities.
Support routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, and QoS.
Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal IT teams for incident resolution and project execution.
Maintain network monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
Qualifications
Strong experience in enterprise network administration and troubleshooting.
Hands‑on expertise with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, or equivalent networking technologies.
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and network security.
Experience with firewall management, IDS/IPS, and secure remote access solutions.
Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Wireshark.
Knowledge of wireless networking technologies and enterprise Wi‑Fi deployments.
Experience with cloud networking concepts in Microsoft Azure and AWS.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Desired skills: SD‑WAN, network automation, scripting (Python or Ansible), Zero Trust architecture, cybersecurity best practices, data center operations, structured cabling, ITIL processes, change management.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related field.
7+ years of experience in network administration and enterprise infrastructure support.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, Palo Alto PCCSA/PCNSA, or equivalent are preferred.
Compensation and Benefits Role Location: North Carolina
Compensation Range: $65,000 – $98,000 per year.
Full‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, 6 days of paid sick leave each year, 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. Employees and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short‑ and long‑term disability benefits.
