Digital Content Production Manager, IDC Content Studio Job ID: 10415048 | Amazon Web Services, Inc.
AWS IDC Content Studio is seeking a results-driven Production Manager to serve as a key production partner for IDP digital marketing content across AWS Marketing. This role is the vital link between creative vision and flawless delivery — orchestrating digital content projects from intake through final delivery, ensuring IDP programs and campaigns transform into exceptional, bar-raising work.
As the "front of the house" partner, you will serve as the primary production partner for IDP v-teams and requestors across AWS Marketing, managing expectations, supporting cross-functional alignment, and ensuring every deliverable meets the highest standards of quality and brand integrity. This role demands strategic thinking, operational excellence, and interpersonal finesse.
Key Job Responsibilities
Requestor Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for requestors within the IDC and across AWS Marketing, managing expectations, communicating project status, and building trusted partnerships.
Conduct discovery calls to align on creative asks, refine project artifacts (Creative Brief, Bill of Materials), and confirm scope before moving into production.
Present tactical approaches and business rationale to stakeholders and leadership — including documents reviewed at the Manager/Director level.
Project Coordination & Workflow Management: Manage end-to-end project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverable schedules across multiple concurrent IDP campaigns.
Establish workback schedules during the Confirmation stage to achieve on-time delivery across all content tiers.
Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Coordinate between creative, strategy, IDP v-teams, and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
Coordinate creative disciplines across video production, UX design, graphic design, and copywriting.
Serve as the single-threaded production partner for assigned IDP programs — the most familiar person with content, project nuances, contracts, and talent commitments.
Agency & Vendor Management: Support the selection, onboarding, and management of external agency and production partners.
Conduct regular performance reviews with agency partners; elevate risks and flag issues proactively to protect project timelines.
Budget & Resource Planning: Track project budgets and optimize resource utilization across internal teams and external partners to maximize output quality.
Develop project plans including steps, timelines, and communication rollout strategies.
Quality Assurance & Delivery: Implement rigorous review processes to ensure all deliverables meet AWS brand standards, technical specifications, and requestor requirements before final delivery.
Maintain working knowledge across creative disciplines — video, UX, graphic design, and written content — and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, XD) for quality assessment.
Contribute to AI-enabled process improvements and automation opportunities to accelerate content production cycles.
Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate status updates to senior team members and leadership with clarity and consistency.
A Day in the Life A Production Manager handles complex, high-visibility content production projects with growing autonomy. They work with guidance from senior team members on the most strategic decisions, demonstrate execution and emerging strategic thinking, and contribute to initiatives that improve quality and scalability across the IDC organization.
