Overview Skanska is seeking a dynamic Oracle Cloud Systems Administrator. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining systems and related infrastructure, including managing applications hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and optimizing Oracle Exadata databases. The Systems Administrator monitors system performance to ensure high availability and peak performance, develops backup and recovery procedures, manages production, test, and disaster recovery environments, coordinates with the business to apply patches with testing and documentation, and provides technical support to users. The role requires knowledge of DBA tasks for Oracle databases, including configuration, performance tuning, and maintenance, and includes ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Continuous improvement through staying updated on industry trends is expected.
