Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer Position Summary The Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for developing and executing tests on new and existing products to ensure they meet functional, technical, and regulatory compliance while maintaining high overall product quality. The role interfaces with Game/OS Development and other Product Development staff to resolve issues in a timely manner and ensures testing efficiency and quality excellence. Essential Job Functions Test L&W products according to functional specifications and project plans. Ensure products comply with all technical standards and regulatory requirements. Evaluate products to eliminate deficiencies. Submit and liaise on issues reported with external testing facilities. Investigate and reproduce field-reported issues. Test hardware and firmware updates from vendors. Collaborate with teams to support the release of quality products. Create and execute test cases for new and existing requirements. Provide feedback on existing processes to improve quality and efficiency. Provide periodic project status reports. Qualifications 0–1 year of relevant SQA work experience. Proficiency in software quality testing and assurance with a strong attention to detail. Technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience with programming languages, scripting, test management tools, and defect management tools is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with diverse professionals. Solid understanding of serial communication protocols. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Work Conditions 5 days a week on‑site required. The employee will work under the company’s WHS policy, ensuring compliance with safe work practices and equipment handling. The employee may be required to move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Physical Requirements The role involves sitting, standing, walking, bending, using hands, operating a computer, and requires close and distant vision.
