Safety Coordinator We are seeking a hands-on Safety Coordinator to support workplace safety initiatives in a manufacturing environment. This position works closely with employees and leadership to promote safe work practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain a strong culture of safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in safety, EHS, OSHA compliance, hazard identification, and manufacturing operations. Candidates with experience as a Safety Coordinator, Safety Specialist, EHS Coordinator, Environmental Health and Safety Technician, or Industrial Safety Professional are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Safety Programs & Training
Conduct new hire orientations and ongoing safety training. Promote safe work practices and employee engagement initiatives. Participate in and support safety meetings and awareness programs. Manage PPE programs and maintain first aid supplies.
Compliance & Audits
Perform facility safety audits and inspections. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Support internal and external safety audits. Maintain safety records, training documentation, and OSHA logs.
Incident Prevention & Investigation
Identify workplace hazards and track corrective actions. Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis. Recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety and reduce risk. Partner with leadership to maintain a proactive safety culture.
Qualifications Required
High school diploma or GED. Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Work Environment
Combination of office and production floor responsibilities. Industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving equipment. Frequent interaction with employees and operations personnel. Must follow all PPE and safety requirements.
