At Hotel Julien Dubuque , we believe that unforgettable events start behind the scenes. We are looking for a high-energy Sales Coordinator to keep our busy Sales Department running like clockwork. If you love the hospitality industry but are ready to transition into a pivotal administrative and event-coordination role, this is your perfect match.
A Day in the Life:
Connecting with Clients: You'll be the friendly first point of contact managing inquiries from small catering events to weddings and conferences.
Behind-the-Scenes Magic: From drafting Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to managing event signage, you'll ensure no detail is missed.
Creative Support: You will help manage marketing collateral, track monthly inventory, and send personalized post-event thank-you notes.
Staying Ahead: You'll keep your pulse on the local market by conducting annual competitive analysis research.
Who You Are:
You have 2–3 years of experience in a front-facing hospitality role (like Front Desk or Food & Beverage) and are ready to grow.
You are a master multitasker who can pivot quickly when priorities change.
You speak fluent tech -you’re comfortable in Word and Excel, and excited to learn specialized platforms like Caterease and Lodgical.
You have a proactive, team-first attitude . You don't just wait for tasks; you look for ways to help.
