Senior Network Engineer – Brugherio (MB, Italy) We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join Oerlikon’s Global IT Infrastructure team in a cloud‑driven environment. The role is responsible for technical ownership of SDN and other network services.
Hybrid working model with occasional international travel.
Your Responsibilities
Lead the evolution of our global network infrastructure and accelerate digital transformation.
Build and optimize resilient global network services with focus on performance and reliability.
Contribute expertise to high‑impact corporate IT projects and digital initiatives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external providers to align technical solutions with business goals.
Your Profile
Deep experience in legacy network design and hands‑on expertise in SD‑WAN, Cisco SD Access, and wireless technologies.
Perimeter security experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and AWS technologies.
Practical experience in hybrid on‑premises and cloud environments, ideally AWS.
Ability to interface confidently with executive leadership, business units, and external partners.
English proficiency required.
Strong self‑initiative and readiness for occasional international travel.
