Warehouse Manager

Responsible for daily operations of Abilene Warehouse functions. Coordinates intake, processing, storage and distribution of donated goods in a safe and efficient manner. Responsible for supervising, training and motivating employees.

High School Diploma or GED preferred

6 months warehouse experience required

Must be certified in CPR/First Aid within first 3 months of employment

Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to handle the needs of employees in a sensitive and effective manner

Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform their duties

Requires ability to maintain privileged and confidential information

Maintains professional appearance and decorum at all times

Must be able to read and write English effectively

Effectively communicate with co-workers and employees

Mobility, lifting and carrying to safely maintain flow of goods and items

Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates

Valid Texas driver's license and good driving record required

Coordinate processes within the Warehouse

Ensure employees are producing in a manner that maintains appropriate flow of goods

Successfully complete opening & closing procedures of donated goods areas

Coordinate truck loading, travel and unloading schedules

Maintain and improve upon Warehouse operations

Process all required documentation and paperwork accurately and timely

Receive and monitor stock as appropriate

Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure appropriate coverage

Edit and approve time for employees

Responsible for supervising, training and motivating employees

Troubleshoot problems and issues associated with employees, procedures and systems. Notify supervisor as appropriate

Make appropriate decisions in a variety of situations including but not limited to altercations, medical emergencies, theft, power failure, inclement weather, etc

Adhere to and enforce all company policies, procedures & practices, including loss prevention

Ensure processes are handled efficiently, safely and appropriately

Promote a safe work environment

Process all required documentation and paperwork accurately and timely

Responsible to accurately report/review/follow up on productivity to supervisor

Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with coworkers and other departments

Relate appropriately and positively with co-workers

Must be willing and able to consistently work as scheduled
