Assistant Store Manager Location: East Hampton

Department: Retail

Report To: Store Manager

You are a hands-on leader who thrives on the sales floor and leads by example. You are detail-oriented, guest-focused, and driven by results. You enjoy building relationships with both your team and customers and take pride in delivering a strong in-store experience.

You support the Store Manager in driving the business while coaching the team, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring the store reflects the Stoney Clover Lane brand.

The Assistant Store Manager supports all aspects of store operations, team development, and guest experience. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, supporting team execution, and ensuring consistency in daily operations and brand standards.

Support the Store Manager in driving overall store performance and achieving sales goals

Actively sell on the floor and coach team members to improve performance

Drive KPIs including conversion, AOV, and units per transaction

Support daily store operations including scheduling, inventory, and workflow execution

Perform store walkthroughs to maintain merchandising and presentation standards

Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stock levels, and discrepancies

Maintain an organized and efficient back-of-house environment

Support hiring, training, and development of team members

Provide real-time coaching and feedback on the sales floor

Build and maintain client relationships through consistent clienteling

Support in-store events and brand activations

Step in to lead the store in the absence of the Store Manager

Retail leadership experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment

Strong passion for guest experience and sales

Ability to coach and develop team members

Strong organizational and operational skills

Clear communication and ability to manage multiple priorities

Solutions-oriented mindset with a proactive approach

Strong focus on driving sales and achieving KPI targets

Clienteling mindset with ability to build lasting guest relationships

Results-driven with understanding of conversion, AOV, and productivity metrics

Strong sense of ownership and accountability

Collaborative and supportive team leader

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Energetic and engaged on the sales floor

Hourly rate: $23.00 $28.00 per hour

2024 hours/week for part-time positions

3240 hours/week for full-time positions

Schedule subject to change based on business needs and events
