EMR: Epic Coverage reason: Gap in schedule Daily procedural volume: Approximately 10-15 procedures per day Diagnostic reading between IR cases: Not required Required Clinical Responsibilities
The provider will perform a broad range of general Interventional Radiology procedures, including: Diagnostic & Vascular Interventions Venous and arterial angiography Venous and arterial angioplasty Venous and arterial stenting Thrombolytic therapy Embolization procedures Access & Drainage Procedures PICC lines and central line placement Port-a-cath insertion IVC filter placement Aspiration and drainage procedures Abscess drainage Chest tube insertion Biopsies & Image-Guided Procedures Percutaneous needle biopsies (including bone biopsies) Myelography Arthrograms Blood patches Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary & Renal Procedures TIPS procedures Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiograms Biliary and renal extractions Gastrostomy tube placement Nephrostomy and ureteral stent placement Renal fistulograms Pain Management & Specialized Procedures Joint and epidural injections Vertebroplasty Uterine artery embolization Liver Y90/TACE procedures Cryoablation Thoracentesis Paracentesis Preferred (Not Required) Neurointerventional stroke thrombectomy capability Required Skills & Qualifications Required
Extensive
general Interventional Radiology experience Ability to independently perform the full list of IR procedures Active
North Dakota medical license
(required before starting) Completion of all credentialing and enrollment paperwork prior to assignment Preferred
Experience performing
neurointerventional stroke thrombectomy Ideal Candidate
Strong general IR proceduralist comfortable managing a high-volume service line Experienced handling urgent and emergent call cases independently Familiar with Epic EMR and hospital-based practice environments Able to provide comprehensive IR coverage with minimal supervision
