Job Details:
Provide inpatient urology coverage through 24-hour beeper call shifts
Coverage need is approximately 1 week per month, with 3 to 4 scheduled 24-hour call shifts per week
Additional shifts may be available for providers comfortable with the census and consecutive 24-hour call shifts
Average callback is 4 to 5 hours daily, varying based on caseload
Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
General urology skills required with adult patient population focus
Preferred skills include percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and robotic surgery
Preferred procedures also include renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)
Board certification required
Active state license or IMLC required
DEA required
BLS certification required
