Cloud Integration and Data Engineering Integrate diverse data sources including Oracle, SQL Server, flat files, and APIs into Azure Data Lake using secure, scalable solutions. Work extensively with Azure services like Data Lake Storage, Key Vault, Azure Synapse, and Logic Apps
Testing, Monitoring and Production Support Perform unit testing, end-to-end validation, and implement restartability in ETL frameworks. Provide L1, L2, and L3 production support and work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve failures and bottlenecks. Monitor ADF pipeline executions, configure alerts, and ensure uptime compliance during hypercare.
Reporting and Visualization Develop analytical reports and dashboards in Power BI using DAX and custom visuals. Connect to Azure SQL, model datasets, create slicers, bookmarks, and share dashboards with users. Optimize performance with indexing and summarize data loads for reporting.
Documentation and Collaboration Collaborate with product owners and analysts to gather requirements, estimate efforts, and define user stories. Document ETL processes, data dictionaries, and transition support guides. Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain project updates in Azure DevOps.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Skills:
Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
SQL expertise and query optimization
Database design and architecture
Backup and recovery, performance tuning
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Certifications:
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
MySQL Database Administrator (DBA)
Experience:
Typically 2-5 years of experience in database administration
