Responsible to develop and foster group business bookings through pro-active direct sales, telemarketing, appointment calls, attending industry networking events, and tours of the hotel. Achieve established monthly room night and activity goals. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for an established regional territory or vertical market segment. Clear understanding of the hotel’s business strategies and goals to determine action plans. Identify new business opportunities. Provide quick and timely responses to develop professional long-term business relationships. Always provide the highest quality of service to customers. Responding to RFP’s, writing Proposals, Contracts and all modifications to documents. Account and booking maintenance in property booking software. Work closely with the Conference Services Department to effectively meet customer. Job Requirements: Attend Sales meetings and other hotel department and client meetings as required. Submit activity and booking reports to DOS as required. Requirements Prior Hospitality Sales experience required Demonstrates strong organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Willing and able to travel to establish and maintain client networks. Ability to think creatively and analytically. Capable of creating and maintaining a large client network.
