This position is a unique blend of analytics, consumer insights, and strategic storytelling. As part of a lean, high-impact team, the role will support a broad range of initiatives across brand, sales, and innovation—partnering cross-functionally to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence decision‑making through compelling insights.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights:
Conduct ad hoc sales and consumer analysis using both syndicated (NIQ, Circana) and custom data sources
Analyze category, brand and consumer trends to identify growth opportunities and potential risks
Leverage panel data and other analytics tools to develop insights that inform strategic business decisions
Consumer Research & Study Leadership:
Co‑lead custom research initiatives with external vendors, including consumer surveys, concept tests, and innovation workstreams
Coordinate consumer product tests and ensure clear, cross‑functional reporting of results across Marketing, Sales, and R&D teams
Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality execution, adherence to timelines, and alignment with business objectives
Insights Development & Storytelling:
Synthesize data from multiple sources (e.g., Mintel, syndicated data, custom research) into clear, actionable insights
Develop and present compelling reports and presentations that support brand strategy, sales initiatives, and innovation pipelines
Translate complex data into concise “selling stories” tailored for internal teams and external stakeholders, including retail partners
Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with Brand teams to track portfolio performance and support strategic planning initiatives
Support Trade Marketing and Sales teams by developing insights‑based recommendations and retailer‑facing materials
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Sales, R&D) to ensure insights are integrated into business decisions and execution
Stakeholder Support & Enablement:
Present insights to internal leadership teams, cross‑functional partners, and external stakeholders (e.g., retailers, agency partners)
Provide training and support to Sales and Marketing teams to enhance understanding and application of insights
Serve as a trusted partner, helping teams interpret data and apply insights to drive business outcomes
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Economics, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Insights, Analytics, Category Management, or related roles; CPG experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience working with syndicated and panel data sources (e.g., NIQ, Circana, Numerator, Scintilla).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience developing compelling insights‑driven materials.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong project management skills and experience coordinating cross‑functional initiatives and vendor partners.
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance high‑level insights development with hands‑on execution.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Work is performed 100% on site.
