Senior Software Engineer – Electronic Warfare Location: 6380 Hollister Ave, Goleta, CA (Office #H01). Onsite work required. U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (existing clearance preferred). Salary range: $95,500 – $181,700 USD. Responsibilities Coordinate with cross‑disciplined integrated product teams using agile system and software development processes. Plan, specify, design, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions. Innovate implementations of new products and technologies from architecture to integration, lab test, and field test. Collaborate with disciplines and senior technical staff; produce planning and technical work products. Develop software and FPGA‑level interface requirements from system level requirements; build associated architectures; perform simulations, analysis, and testing in lab settings. Work in an advanced product development environment with systems, firmware, electrical, and software engineers. Root‑cause issues and develop creative resolutions. Handle fast‑paced and dynamic product development, engaging with Systems and Electrical Engineers. Occasional business‑related travel. Qualifications Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience in software design, integration, and testing using C / C++. Experience with embedded microprocessor design, SoC software design, FPGAs, high‑speed transceivers, DDR, flash memories, block diagrams, signal analysis, or signal generation. Experience developing real‑time applications on embedded platforms (bare‑metal, embedded Linux, or Windows). Existing Secret clearance is preferred. Knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW) or Electronic Attack/Electronic Support (EA/ES), radar, or secure communications technology. Experience with .NET C#, WPF, MVVM, Visual Studio, Vitis, TortoiseSVN, Jenkins, Jira, Collaborator. DevSecOps background and pipeline toolset use. Lab experience with logic analyzers, high‑speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, and SoC debugging tools. Experience with interface and bus standards such as VME, PCI, PCIe, VPX, or Gb Ethernet. Experience through all software lifecycle phases: architecture, requirements analysis, design, implementation, verification, integration, and maintenance. Experience with radar technology or machine‑learning algorithms. Proficiency in Agile development processes.
