Conduct hourly rounds on approximately 8 to 10 patients, checking vitals, maintaining whiteboard information, and assisting with care as needed
Collaborates with RN in implementation of plan
Assists patients with activities of daily living according to standards of care and hospital protocol
Reports significant observed or reported alterations in the patient condition
Assists with patient admission, discharge and transfer
Job Requirements Required
Completion of nursing assistant program, or
EMT program, or
Completion of first block of nursing program, and
Emergency Medical Technician: AZ, or
Certified Nursing Assistant: AZ
American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate
Preferred
One (1) to Three (3) years Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting
