About The Opportunity We are looking for a Senior Lead, Data & Analytics to join our Central Data Team. In this role, you will leverage analytics to drive growth and efficiency as we enter the next phase of the company’s evolution. You will have the opportunity to solve challenging macro business problems, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and have direct ownership in driving value across the organization.
In This Role, You Will
Define and develop key business metrics: collaborate with business partners to define metrics for sales, membership, revenue and operational‑related initiatives, and model and maintain KPIs within the central data organization.
Enable the functional analytics team to deliver key dashboards and reports: own the development of metrics, data models and the underlying logic that powers the key dashboards and reporting, supporting strategic decision‑making by leadership.
Serve as a cross‑functional data subject‑matter expert: act as both the technical and business expert to help streamline decision‑making between our technology team and core business functions, including sales, finance and operations.
Support data integrity: identify and debug issues with core KPIs, and coordinate with fellow data practitioners and stakeholders to maintain one source‑of‑truth.
About You We’d love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:
Core Competencies And Technical Skills
5+ years experience in an analytical capacity modeling and/or interpreting data (e.g., Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Consultant)
Highly skilled at writing and interpreting complex SQL queries
Experience building dashboards with a data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
Underlying understanding of databases and data structures
Experienced in building and maintaining data models with modern data stack, such as Snowflake, Airflow, DBT
Working knowledge of a scripting language (e.g., Python, R)
Ability to work autonomously with cross‑functional stakeholders as a primary point of contact in supporting their data needs
Possess an intuition for understanding underlying business needs and a knack for dealing with ambiguity
A degree with a quantitative focus (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience)
Nice To Haves
Experience working with CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.) software and data, or have worked on measuring sales performance indicators.
Experience with financial data (e.g., Workday financials)
Prior experience in sales‑focused roles, analytics consulting, or a growth‑stage company
Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
Experience with cloud services (AWS or GCP)
Experience designing and maintaining semantic models (e.g., DBT Semantic Layer, Snowflake Cortex Analyst) to power LLM‑driven self‑serve analytics agents, including defining entities, relationships, and business metrics to improve the accuracy and usability of natural language data interactions
Compensation & Benefits Base Pay: $90,000 to $120,000 annually
Incentive Compensation: WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail the applicable plan. Plans are subject to terms and may be amended. Nothing in this requisition creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.
