Location Hybrid and based out of corporate office locations in Columbus, OH; Austin, TX; or Denver, CO. Strong remote candidates may be considered if a suitable local skill match is not identified. Compensation The expected salary range for this position is $125,000–$145,000, depending on experience, skills, and location. What you’ll do Work closely with Product & Design to understand product requirements across internal and external applications Develop and document manual and automated testing plans based on product requirements Review business requirements and recommend changes to develop reliable applications Build automated end‑to‑end tests using the Playwright testing automation framework Build automated API tests using Postman or similar and implement automated tests in code Build and analyze performance tests Perform manual and exploratory testing as appropriate Automate regression testing for scalability Write API tests in code using TypeScript Streamline and automate release processes while ensuring stability and quality Ensure critical financial math is accurate and in line with mortgage industry standards Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines Aid users and program teams in investigating and reproducing bugs found in production Prioritize and categorize bugs with management Identify applications and areas producing higher bug rates Become an expert in the expected behavior of mortgage applications Explore and develop AI testing frameworks, confirming effective use and limitations Who you are 3+ years in QA and SDET Mid or senior level depending on experience, technical depth, and leadership capabilities Experience working in an agile environment with team members in other cities and states Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills, in discussions, Slack, and documentation Familiarity with database testing, security testing, and accessibility testing is a plus EEO Statement Lower provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
