.Responsibiliti
es Administer and support Oracle 19c databases in a Data Guard configuration (1 primary, 2 standby
s).Manage and maintain Oracle Data Guard using Data Guard Brok
er.Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Fast-Start Failover (FSFO) including multiple observers across distributed environ
ts.Perform routine and emergency patching (RU/CPU), including planning, testing, and post-patch validati
on.Monitor database health, performance, and availability using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OE
M).Execute and validate switchover and failover operations, including reinstatement of the primary databa
se.Troubleshoot Data Guard issues such as transport/apply lag, archive gaps, and broker-related erro
rs.Maintain backup and recovery processes using RMAN, including support for FRA and flashback featur
es.Qualificat
ions Role - Sr. Oracle Database Administrator with 10+ years Oracle database administration experience supporting large scale or enterprise level database serv
ices.10 + years’ experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Oracle’s data
base.Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as, the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tu
ning.Significant experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & reco
very.Experience with DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migra
tion.BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent years’ experi
ence.Must be an independent worker with strong communications sk
ills.Security + CE requ
ired.Required
Skills Strong hands-on experience with Oracle 19c on Linux (no
n-RAC).Proven expertise with Data Guard Broker and FSFO in multi-standby enviro
nments.Solid experience with Oracle patching and lifecycle mana
gement.Working knowledge of OEM for monitoring, alerting, and performance an
alysis.Experience with RMAN backup/recovery and Flashback Da
tabase.Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scr
ipting.Experience supporting multi-site observer configur
ations.Familiarity with performance tuning (AW
R/ASH).Preferre
d SkillsCurrently holds or recently held SYS3 PRIVA
