Job Responsibilities As a West Coast Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for servicing existing customers, generating leads, and closing new business. The candidate must be a motivated self‑starter, possess strong communication skills, have a high degree of personal integrity, and be driven for success. Other responsibilities include:
Integrating sales and individual activity into our CRM system
Developing new accounts, servicing existing accounts, and generating new leads to ensure the territory is effectively covered and supported
Creating annual business plans and sales strategies for the territory to meet company sales goals and profitability
Possessing and maintaining an in‑depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and product lines and services represented by the company
Job Requirements
3 to 5 Years of proven sales experience with machine tool solutions technology
Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office
Familiarity with CRM software (Zoho is preferred)
Technical aptitude and knowledge of machine tool technology
Previous experience with machine tools is required.
Manage incoming sales leads from the website and phone calls
Prospect, develop, and close new business with new and existing customers.
Exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.
Regularly travel to perform customer site visits to determine needs and solutions, and obtain detailed information for estimates and proposals
Must have a valid driver’s license with no significant violations.
U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
Benefits Compensation can start DOE from $75,000.00+ per year plus commissions. With your successful commissioned sales you have the potential of earning 100K-250K per year.
