This is a true outside sales role focused on developing new business, growing market share, and helping customers find the right material handling solutions for their operations. If you enjoy building relationships, prospecting, winning new accounts, and controlling your own success, we'd like to talk with you.
What you’ll be doing
Prospect and develop new business within your assigned territory
Sell new and used material handling and industrial equipment solutions
Build relationships with customers across manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, logistics, construction, and other industrial markets
Conduct in-person customer visits, presentations, and equipment demonstrations
Identify customer needs and recommend solutions that improve productivity and efficiency
Develop strategic account plans to grow territory revenue and market share
Collaborate with operations, service, and support teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience
Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently follow up on opportunities
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
What you bring
3+ years of outside sales experience
Proven ability to prospect, develop new business, and grow a territory
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented mindset
Comfortable making cold calls, conducting customer visits, and building relationships from the ground up
Experience in material handling, industrial sales, construction equipment, capital equipment, manufacturing, logistics, building products, or other B2B sales environments is highly preferred
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
