Overview:
Our client is hiring a Technical Accounting Manager to support a large, transaction-driven organization operating within a complex and highly regulated environment. This role combines hands-on technical accounting responsibilities with cross-functional project leadership tied to business growth, system enhancements, and evolving operational processes.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting fundamentals, experience navigating complex business environments, and the ability to partner effectively across finance, operations, systems, and leadership teams. Responsibilities :
• Develop a strong understanding of business operations, products, systems, and workflows across assigned areas
• Lead or support project scoping, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and implementation activities
• Interpret accounting guidance and internal policies into practical business and system requirements
• Identify accounting, operational, and reporting risks and drive issue resolution proactively
• Manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, and coordination across cross-functional teams
• Communicate project updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders across multiple levels
• Research, document, and present technical accounting conclusions and policy recommendations
• Prepare, review, and maintain journal entries across multiple accounting areas in accordance with GAAP
• Support timely and accurate month-end close activities including accruals, reconciliations, and
