Epic Adjacent Data Analyst - Core Skills
The Epic Adjacent Data Analyst supports enterprise-wide training and application readiness by managing data, reporting, and operational workflows across Epic-integrated ('adjacent') systems. Key responsibilities include:
Training Data Management & Analysis
Analyze and maintain application user lists, including validation, deduplication, and ongoing updates for new hires, transfers, and terminations
Monitor and resolve training tracking gaps, including incomplete rosters and zero-enrollment sessions
KPI Tracking & Compliance Reporting
Develop and maintain training compliance reports (registration vs. completion) across all Epic Adjacent applications
Conduct advanced analysis on LMS (Cornerstone) data extracts to identify trends, gaps, and performance risks
Dashboard Development & Visualization
Design and maintain Tableau and Power BI dashboards with Analytics team to present real-time training metrics and operational insights
Support dashboard enhancements based on stakeholder requirements and business feedback
Training Operations & Logistics Support
Support end-to-end training operations, including:
Session creation and roster management in LMS
Training calendar development and maintenance
Coordination of training hubs and meeting logistics
Partner with service lines and stakeholders to schedule training and validate registration needs
Application & Workflow Analysis
Perform workflow and application analysis to support training alignment and operational readiness
Review and maintain application inventory and training scope across Epic Adjacent systems
Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
Act as a liaison between clinical, operations, application teams, vendors, and training stakeholders
Support training program coordination during Epic waves, ensuring alignment across departments and service lines
Participate in cross-functional meetings, reporting updates, and project plan execution
Governance, Standards & Reporting Alignment
Ensure adherence to Epic Adjacent training standards and guiding principles
Maintain and update enterprise dashboards and application status reporting
Provide structured project milestone reporting to Enterprise Digital Services leadership
Job Description
Analyzes, verifies, tracks and reports on department related databases and software. Serves as a liaison between department's analytical needs and technical data storage systems and files; collaborates with stakeholders to document requirements for reporting. Develop analytic reports and dashboards utilizing various databases and third party data files.
Job Responsibility
Analyzes, verifies, tracks and reports on department related databases and software.
Identifies strategies for evaluation of key performance indicators (KPI's), quality metrics, outcomes evaluation, population management studies, etc.
Develops technical and functional specifications based on business requirements and analysis of technical workflows.
Identifies issues in data quality that would impact reporting (i.e. duplicate records, missing data, etc.).
Identifies methods of data visualization and presentation principles to ensure effective and impactful communication of projects to management.
Maintains trends and tracks various measures to fully utilize the capabilities of databases and data files.
Integrates add-on programs to eliminate or streamline back end processes.
Serves as a liaison between departments analytical needs and technical data storage systems and files.
Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.

Job Qualification
Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
1-3 years of relevant experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $66300.00-$98500.00/year
