Job Summary Leidos is seeking a highly experienced Linux-focused technical professional to support systems across cloud and on-prem environments. This role requires deep expertise in Linux administration, along with experience in infrastructure, security compliance, and troubleshooting within containerized and virtualized environments. This position is eligible for a 10k Sign on Bonus.
Primary Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Linux-based systems across cloud and containerized environments
Manage and support storage solutions and virtualization technologies
Configure and troubleshoot IP networking and firewall components
Apply and support PKI/TLS/cryptographic solutions, including adherence to crypto policies
Perform application support and advanced system troubleshooting within Linux environments
Support SSP compliance activities and STE/STN requirements on Linux systems
Contribute to system automation efforts using available tools (as applicable)
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of experience, OR no degree with 15+ years of related professional experience
IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP)
Strong proficiency in Linux system administration (required)
Experience with IP networking and firewall technologies
Solid understanding of PKI/TLS/cryptography and associated policies
Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Pay Range Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
