We are seeking a technically strong and solution-oriented Salesforce Developer to join our Product & UX Technology team. You will have strong hands-on experience with Salesforce platform development, integrations, CI/CD automation, version control systems, and emerging AI-assisted development tools. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, administrators, analysts, and developers to deliver scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions, so you need to be collaborative, proactive, and capable of communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Essential Duties: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs. Support modernization efforts for coaching and student engagement platforms within Salesforce. Build and maintain automation solutions that reduce manual administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency. Develop integrations between Salesforce and third-party platforms using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term platform strategy and technical roadmap planning. Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments using modern DevOps practices. Manage source control and branching strategies using Git-based repositories. Work with AI-assisted development platforms and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to improve developer productivity and accelerate solution delivery. Ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices, security standards, and governance processes. Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and production support activities. Create and maintain technical documentation related to system architecture, integrations, deployment processes, and application functionality. Support Agile development processes including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management. Assume or coordinate other duties or projects as assigned or directed. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs. Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and enterprise Salesforce implementations. Experience using Git-based version control systems such as GitHub or BitBucket and supporting CI/CD deployment pipelines. Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Salesforce DX, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gearset, or Copado. Experience integrating external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware technologies. Demonstrated strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, sharing rules, permission sets, and governance best practices. Experience working with AI-assisted development tools and platforms including Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Salesforce MCP servers, and related MCP-based tooling. Experience designing automation solutions, AI-enabled workflows, and scalable Salesforce architecture patterns. Evidence of familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies along with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Evidence of Salesforce Platform Developer I certification, additional Salesforce certifications and higher education experience preferred.
