Role Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Reports to : VP, AI Engineering
Location : Houston, TX; Boston, MA
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI‑powered features for production systems.
Build and optimize end‑to‑end ML pipelines for training, evaluation, and inference.
Develop scalable ML infrastructure and services that handle high‑volume workloads.
Implement and fine‑tune large language models (LLMs) for document analysis, natural language processing, and intelligent automation.
Qualifications
At least 6 years of experience building production‑quality data products.
Strong ability to understand complex problems, decompose them into testable hypotheses, implement bug‑free experiments, analyze results, and translate insights into actionable solutions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Technical Expertise
Proficiency with Python and core machine‑learning libraries (Python3.x, Jupyter Notebook, regular expressions).
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or equivalent.
Hands‑on experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI (GPT, Claude, LLaMA, or similar).
Solid understanding of ML fundamentals: supervised/unsupervised learning, neural networks, deep learning, NLP, computer vision.
Education Abachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
Desired Skills
Experience with prompt engineering and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) systems.
Knowledge of vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, or FAISS.
Experience with document processing, OCR, or contract/legal document analysis.
Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar LLM frameworks.
Experience with model optimization techniques (quantization, distillation, pruning).
Benefits & Compensation U.S base salary range: $133,540—$213,660 USD.
