Team Overview The Ads Platform Engineering team builds the ecosystem that spans the “Pitch to Pay” process, enabling sales teams, DSPs, and resellers to run campaigns on Netflix and covering inventory management, execution, ad serving, targeting, measurement, reporting, and finance. Responsibilities Build and scale advertiser‑grade reporting applications that allow internal teams and, over time, external advertisers to explore, filter, schedule, and download ads performance data. Design and operate external‑facing and internal reporting APIs that enable self‑service access to Netflix Ads data for advertisers, sales, and partner integrations. Own and optimize the Ads Druid analytics layer, powering low‑latency, high‑concurrency OLAP workloads that back all reporting, dashboards, and programmatic data access. Build reporting systems that meet MRC and audit‑grade standards, ensuring data completeness, accuracy, traceability, and controls required for accredited advertiser reporting. Qualifications Broad knowledge of ad tech and advertising landscape, programmatic advertising, and digital marketing trends. Proven experience building many cloud‑based applications and comfort with modern, object‑oriented programming languages. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Nice to Have Familiarity with legal compliance and the evolving global ads regulation landscape. Experience working in the CTV space and knowledge of its unique constraints. Compensation The compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; there are no bonuses. The salary range is $250,000.00 – $413,000.00. Benefits Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including health plans, mental health support, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, stock option program, disability programs, health savings and flexible spending accounts, family‑forming benefits, and life and serious injury benefits. Paid leave of absence programs are also available. Full‑time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off, while full‑time salaried employees are entitled to flexible time off immediately.
