Pay Range: (Minimum to mid pay range specific to NY, CA, CO, WA, MD) 85,400.00 - 106,700.00 USD Annual Brinks Texas License #C00550 #LI-Remote Overview Brinks is building the premier ATM Managed Services organization suite of tools, technologies, and services that are second to none in ATM portfolio management. The Business Analyst plays a critical role in enabling the successful onboarding and management of Financial Institutions by defining, coordinating, and validating the data feeds and systems required to support forecasting, reconciliation, dispute management, and chargeback operations. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary technology liaison for Financial Institutions during ATM outsourcing onboarding. Lead discovery sessions to identify required data feeds for ATM transaction forecasting, settlement and reconciliation, cash management reporting and operational analytics, dispute and chargeback management. Document detailed business requirements, data specifications, file formats, and delivery methods (SFTP, API, batch files), mapping logic, and transmission schedules. Oversee ingestion and validation of data feeds to ensure completeness, accuracy, and operational readiness. Identify data gaps, discrepancies, and process risks; drive resolution with internal and external stakeholders. Support reconciliation and settlement processes and assist with root‑cause analysis of variances. Partner with dispute and chargeback teams to ensure proper transaction mapping and reporting accuracy. Develop and maintain onboarding playbooks, standard operating procedures, data specifications, and documentation templates. Translate business needs into user stories, process maps, and functional requirements for Product Engineering. Identify automation opportunities to improve onboarding timelines, scalability, and data validation controls. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce manual effort and enhance operational transparency. Collect requirements, timelines, outcomes, and cost justifications, and produce capital expenditure requests and progress documentation. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, banking, payments, or fintech environments. Understanding of financial transaction processing, reconciliation workflows, and dispute/chargeback operations. Experience working directly with Financial Institutions in a regulated environment. Ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements. Analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high level of attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication across technical and non‑technical audiences. Ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups and navigate conflicting priorities. Understanding of iterative development methodologies and working within Agile frameworks. Ability to match technology capabilities to business value while understanding operational and compliance risks. Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with evolving priorities. Ability to produce documentation, specifications, cost justifications, business cases, authorisation requests, and other supporting documentation. Technically minded with a desire to see systems (strong Systems Thinker). Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information systems, computer science, or related field. Brinks does not offer Visa sponsorship for the Business Analyst role. 3+ years of experience gathering and documenting business and data requirements. Experience supporting data integrations involving SFTP, APIs, or structured flat files. Experience working cross‑functionally with Operations and Engineering teams. Documented track record of improving business processes or onboarding efficiency. Computer / Application Skills Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms. Familiarity with data analysis tools and basic SQL is preferred. Ability to create process diagrams and documentation using Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar. Supervisory Mandate This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. The Business Analyst must coordinate cross‑functional onboarding efforts, influence stakeholders, and drive accountability across internal and external partners.
