About the Role Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks a Technical Sales Representative to join its industry-leading sales team. The role focuses on revenue and profit growth of programs and services in targeted accounts, using a consultative sales approach to build relationships with existing customers and convert strategic competitive accounts. You will also sell new technologies to current customers.

Responsibilities
Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer base and assigned competitively‑held accounts to meet profit increase goals.
Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that maintain and grow sales.
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives.
Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving customer challenges and escalating as required.
Perform system analysis, interpret data, and provide written recommendations to ensure customer operations are optimal.
Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology to promote long‑term business relationships.
Location Based in SE Michigan, with a territory covering approximately a 100‑mile radius. Targeted accounts are within the manufacturing industry.
Minimum Qualifications
Five years of technical sales or field sales support experience.
Valid Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record.
Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.).
Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience.
Working knowledge of OR operations, wet end chemistry, pulp mill operations.
Annual Compensation $107,400–$161,100, including base pay and target incentive based on performance. Compensation is influenced by experience, education, training, and geography.
