Responsibilities
Perform entry-level administrative and technical support work for the department.
Provide end-user support for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning requests/issues.
Answer telephone calls, evaluate requests, answer questions, route messages, and act as receptionist or front desk assistant.
Assist in maintaining confidential information and records.
Assist in inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment.
Process routine documents such as vouchers, personnel records, titles or registrations.
Carry out general warehousing duties including stocking and issuing materials and supplies, maintaining records, and maintaining warehouse areas.
Disseminate information to the public.
Maintain files, records, and logs.
Maintain radio contact with field units and others.
Make copies and distribute as instructed.
Open, sort, and distribute mail.
Perform preliminary research on assignments and gather pertinent data.
Perform routine word processing duties and conduct quality checks of documents created.
Run errands as required.
Perform other job responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Must be a student in high school or other educational institution or accepted into a college, university or educational institution.
Must be at least 16 years of age and a student currently enrolled in high school or any institution of higher education, including a trade or vocational school.
Employees at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license may be assigned driving duties and may use power tools.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather but not temperature changes.
Light work: lift up to 20 lbs at a time and frequently lift or carry objects up to 10 lbs.
Sitting – prolonged periods of time.
Standing – prolonged periods of time.
Repetitive motion – substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
