Description - Summary/ObjectiveThe Facilities Coordinator is responsible for buildings/facilities of Green Country Habitat for Humanity (GCHFH) making sure they are in good working order, clean, well-maintained, secure, and meet health and safety standards, including but not limited to: arranging for and directing renovations, repairs, grounds keeping, answering complaints and concerns, creating budgets, making sure all buildings comply with all laws and ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.

Essential FunctionsParticipate in weekly planning meetings with the Facilities Manager.Works with and advises GCHFH leadership on space allocation, equipment and furniture needs and facility maintenance.Develops and directs the preparation of all safety and security rules, standards, and regulations for GCHFH.Ensures all licenses and other required information is maintained properly for government bodies and others as appropriate, and all state and Federal laws are always followed.Audits GCHFH department records verifying their vehicles are inspected daily and weekly, vehicle safety check lists are completed, vehicles maintenance routines are conducted, and that vehicle registration, documentation and records are maintained per standard.Ensures GCHFH follows all regulatory safety (OSHA), security, and reporting guidelines.Maintains all properties by investigating and resolving maintenance issues; landscaping and snow removal.Maintains building systems by contracting for maintenance services; supervising repairs.Security properties by installing and maintaining security devices; establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures; responding to emergencies.Responsible for GCHFH mow list.Attend all assigned meetings and training sessions.Other duties, as required.
Position Requirements - Skills / AbilitiesAbility to handle multiple tasks in a deadline orientated environment.Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and grounds keeping.Ability to use common hand and electrical tools, and an eagerness to learn new skills.Ability to read and check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.Thorough working knowledge of facility equipment units, their usage, and safety procedures.Understanding of necessary mathematics.Knowledge of simple home improvement materials.Experience / EducationHigh School or GED equivalent.Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.Forklift and heavy equipment experience.Additional RequirementsMust possess valid Oklahoma Driver's License with safe driving record.Ability to work a flexible work schedule including Saturday and Sunday required
