Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1368 $250 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUSOpportunity: Paramedic - Paramedic Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule • 84 guaranteed hours biweekly with overtime after 84 hours worked in the second week • Every other weekend required with scheduled rotation including weekend days on/off • Holiday rotation as needed and available • No float requirement, though may need to move to other locations in north region based on staffing levels on scheduled work days • May be placed on low census call with a minimum 2-hour callback requirement • Provide basic and advanced life support treatment, care, and evaluation of patients • Conduct ongoing assessment and required documentation of patient care • Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patient charts • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and treatment as appropriate • Initiate and implement interventions based on protocols • Assist with treatments and tests ordered by provider under supervision of provider or registered nurse • Identify, intervene, and stabilize ill or injured patients in collaboration with physician and/or registered nurse • Crew configurations may include EMT/Medic, Medic/Medic, RN/EMT, or RN/Medic depending on daily staffing • Charting system utilized is Zoll EMS Charts platform - training will be provided • Required certifications and licensure: Wisconsin EMT Paramedic Certification, Michigan Paramedic Certification, Active Wisconsin Driver's License in good standing, AHA or ARC BLS, AHA or ARC ACLS, AHA or ARC PALS • Wisconsin Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) Endorsement preferred • Minimum one year paramedic experience required, three years preferred • Associate Degree or Certificate required with successful completion of an EMS paramedic program • Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility • Strong collaborative teamwork, independent judgment, and decision-making skills required • Must be able to perform under stress and recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions Facility: This facility is a regional hospital serving a diverse patient population in northern Wisconsin, offering a broad range of healthcare services including emergency medical services.
