What You Will Do
Collaborate with clients, digital leaders, solutions architects, and technical/functional leads across Guidehouse digital teams to support client projects and provide growth solutions.
Serve as a key member of the cloud team, addressing technical challenges, building innovative solution prototypes, and using cloud architectures and software technologies.
Engage in solutions architecture and hands‑on engineering/full‑stack development of scalable and secure distributed systems using modern software technologies, cloud‑native and microservices architecture, containerization, and API‑First design patterns.
Work with user experience designers, platform engineers, product owners, solution architects, and business analysts to design, build, test, and deploy high‑value, operationally resilient software products on the AWS cloud platform.
Support repeatable cloud migrations including rehost (lift & shift), re‑platform, and re‑architect/re‑factor of on‑premises systems/applications and datasets into a mix of multi and hybrid cloud platforms.
What You Will Need
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
Bachelor’s degree.
6+ years of experience in full‑stack application development.
3+ years of experience in cloud applications development to build/modernize applications and datasets into AWS cloud.
Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, mentor, help, and support team members to solve complex technical problems.
In‑depth understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile practices and principles.
Experience implementing frontend and backend services for cloud‑native software products and solutions using VueJS, JavaScript, Python, Django, Flask, Docker, EKS/Kubernetes, AWS Step Functions, EventBridge, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, Elasticsearch, Redis, Memcached, Amazon RDS for Postgres, and/or MongoDB.
Familiarity with AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM) and proven design patterns like Model‑View‑Controller.
Proficiency in delivering cloud‑based software products using contemporary CI/CD pipeline tooling and collaborating with DevSecOps team members.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
AWS Certified Developer – Amazon Web Services certification.
AWS Certification Solutions Architect – Amazon Web Services certification.
Experience in solutions architecture support for technical volumes of proposals and white papers for RFPs/RFIs and thought leadership initiatives.
Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $125,600.00-$188,400.00. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and business and organizational needs.
