Applications Analyst III
gathers business requirements, conducts needs assessments, and develops functional specifications and builds to ensure that developed information technology solutions support business objectives. This level works with little or no supervision and acts as a resource for lower level Application Analysts. This is a hybrid position. Candidates need to be certified in Epic Willow. Responsibilities
Effectively share knowledge with and mentor lower level Application Analysts. Install or upgrade new or existing applications and components, configure application settings, and validate work performed by lower level Application Analysts. Assist in the coordination of end‑user support activities. Attend, participate in, and contribute to meetings throughout the facility. Coordinate and run meetings within the IT department. Provide go‑live support for users on new applications, modules, and functionality. Oversee and/or perform analysis of necessary application modifications and work with IT associates and/or the vendor to coordinate the modification. Analyze business/clinical needs and requirements. Interpret end‑user requirements by fully discussing potential options and helping clients move toward optimal solutions. Evaluate the operational workflow that is applied to the system. Create system specifications from user requirements. Create test plans and test new systems, version upgrades, and any system modifications. Document all outcomes of testing and review lower level Application Analyst’s test plans and documentation for consistency and thoroughness. Responsible for application implementation, troubleshooting, and support. Present oral and written communications to project teams and other departments. Handle complex issues and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher‑level staff. Update system, operational, and department documentation. Recommend areas for process improvements. Provide on‑call support for applications. Provide input into policy and procedure redesign. Act as a preceptor for new staff in the department. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. Lift a minimum of 20 lbs, push and pull a minimum of 20 lbs, and stand a minimum of 4 hours a day. Adhere to the Medical Centers Organizational Competencies and Standards of Behavior. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience. Minimum of 3 years of IT experience preferably in healthcare or related field OR 2 years of IT experience and 2 years of clinical experience. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. Works independently and effectively manages time with little or no supervision. Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook. Effective oral and written communication. Creates and maintains clear, concise documentation. Collaborates with other team members across the department. Demonstrates self‑direction. Preferred Qualifications

Epic and/or other relevant certification(s) or relevant application experience. Benefits
Benefits include health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits. Minimum annual salary: $97,011.20.
