Develop, validate, and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI to support the company.
Write, optimize, and automate scripts in Python and SQL to transform, integrate, and analyze data across systems.
Become the internal subject matter expert for reporting and analytics within the new ERP system, ensuring reports align with system functionality and business needs.
Partner with ERP implementation teams and business stakeholders to design, test, and validate reports and data flows as part of the ERP rollout.
Ensure data integrity and consistency between ERP (Infor SX/CSD), WMS (Körber/HighJump), and other business applications.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into reliable, user-friendly solutions.
Standardize and document reporting processes, creating a central library of reports, data definitions, and usage guidelines.
Provide “train-the-trainer” walkthroughs to support internal training resources.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within IT and business reporting workflows.
Assist IT leadership with project management, vendor coordination, and system rollout activities.
Contribute to long-term succession planning by demonstrating leadership, communication, and operational management skills.
Stay current on BI, data integration, and ERP reporting trends; recommend tools or approaches that support Wallace’s growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
3–5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or IT reporting roles.
Proficiency with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard development).
Experience with Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with ERP and WMS systems (Infor SX / CSD, Körber/HighJump preferred).
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Experience validating and reconciling financial/operational reports.
Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong organizational skills with experience in project coordination or leadership.
Knowledge of data governance, master data management, or ETL processes a plus.
Exposure to AI/automation tools or cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS) a plus.
On-site role at Wallace Distribution headquarters in Morristown, TN.
Primarily office-based, with regular interaction across departments.
Standard work hours (Monday–Friday, 8–5), with occasional extended hours during key ERP/reporting deadlines.
