Senior Analytics Partner, People Analytics Senior Analytics Partner is a senior expert and consultant who shapes and delivers the analytics agenda for our divisions and Centers of Excellence (COEs). The role balances strategic thinking with hands‑on analytical execution, leveraging data to drive business impact for travelers and partners.
Introduction to the Team We are part of Expedia Group’s People Analytics team, which supports corporate functions such as Employee Communications, Finance, Legal, People Team, Inclusion and Diversity, and Global Social Impact and Sustainability.
Responsibilities Analytics Delivery
Translate business and people priorities into analytics opportunities and strategies that deliver measurable impact.
Lead end‑to‑end analytics projects—from clarifying the business question, scoping a clear SOW, to choosing the right analytical approach and delivering executive‑ready narratives.
Transform complex data and analyses into clear, compelling visualizations and stories for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Develop measurement strategies and new metrics that inform organizational health assessment, talent reviews, and program/product impact.
Document and automate recurring analytics tasks to improve efficiency, quality, and speed.
Act as the bridge between customers (HR, business) and product teams to help productize analytics into AI‑native product experiences aligned with real business decisions.
Partnerships and Consulting
Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Partners, COEs, and senior leaders to influence strategies through data.
Identify and deliver strategic analytics, metric development, and organizational health insights that boost effectiveness and impact.
Empower partners for self‑serve through people insights products while handling more complex analytical needs.
Design and deliver learning labs, office hours, and coaching to upskill partners on data literacy, product fluency, and AI‑assisted analytics.
Support engagement surveys and provide actionable recommendations for actioning.
Manage intake and prioritization of analytics requests, ensuring timely delivery of high‑impact work.
Coordinate feedback sessions for product design, UAT, pilots, and go‑to‑market strategy.
People Analytics Collaboration
Champion analytics excellence by sharing peer feedback, reusable code, and thought leadership.
Partner with Machine Learning Science to validate and scale models for optimal business value.
Collaborate with Data Engineering on new data sources, issue resolution, and table optimization.
Surface user needs and feedback to influence product roadmap, feature prioritization, and UX improvements.
Deliver knowledge exchange sessions across the People Analytics team to share best practices.

Experience and Qualifications
6+ years of experience in People Analytics and consulting or stakeholder‑facing roles.
Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Analytics/Data Science, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related quantitative/behavioral field.
Technical Skills
Fluent in R or Python, SQL, Tableau; experience with Qualtrics and DataBricks preferred.
Ability to work with large, unstructured data, extracting from multiple sources (e.g., Workday, engineering productivity, sales) and integrating into analytical datasets.
Advanced understanding of common data models, their assumptions, and appropriate use.
Experience using advanced statistical methods (e.g., predictive modeling; ONA a plus) to solve diverse business challenges.
Experience designing and executing employee listening programs.
Proficiency in using AI to accelerate analytics (prompt engineering, AI‑code quality assessment).
Ability to produce high volume of analytics work at pace with strong attention to detail.
Consulting/Partnering Skills
Business acumen, problem‑framing, and critical thinking; align people analytics with strategy and guide decision making.
Exceptional storytelling and communication; produce executive‑ready narratives and present to senior leadership.
Experience operating in complex, global, matrixed organizations as a high‑influence I.C. who leads through expertise and relationships.
Success building trusted relationships with HR partners and business leaders at all levels.
Resilience, agility, and comfort with ambiguity in a fast‑changing environment.
Compensation The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $173,000.00 to $242,500.00. Employees have the potential to increase pay up to $277,000.00 based on ongoing, sustained performance. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
