Company Description PAJE Optometric is a mobile Optometric company based in Santa Ana, California that specializes in providing comprehensive eye care services to our skilled nursing facilities. Our team is dedicated to delivering personalized and advanced optometric care to our patients across Southern California. We pride ourselves on our commitment to improving vision health through the latest technologies and techniques.
Role Description Doctor will be provided a schedule of facilities to be visited (one per day) and will be provided an assistant for each work day. Doctor will be expected to be an expert in refraction with retinoscopy racks, modifying prescriptions using trial frames/lenses, and be proficient in anterior/posterior diagnoses, treatments, managements, and diagnostic ordering. PAJE Optometric is a mobile medical optometry practice servicing skilled nursing facilities and subacute/post-acute hospitals throughout Southern California.
Job requirements
Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school State licensure to practice optometry in California Proficiency in conducting eye exams and diagnosing vision problems TMOD certified SNF experience preferred but not required, Willing to drive various distances to various facilities, Proficient in refraction with retinoscopy racks, Proficient in anterior/posterior diagnoses, treatments, managements, and diagnostic ordering
Compensation Production based (per exam, glasses pair, billable retinal photo, etc). Mileage reimbursed per IRS guidelines
