Supporting data engineering and analytics efforts through data extraction, transformation, and validation
Navigating relational databases and writing SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data
Assisting with the development and maintenance of ETL processes using tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar
Contributing to process automation initiatives using tools such as UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate , including automating data flows, reporting tasks, and operational processes
Writing and maintaining scripts in C#, PowerShell, or similar languages to support data processing and automation
Working with APIs and file-based data integrations (CSV, JSON, XML, etc.)
Supporting reporting and analytics deliverables using tools such as Power BI or other BI platforms
Assisting with documentation, testing, and continuous improvement of data and automation solutions
Collaborating with senior team members to learn best practices in data engineering, analytics, and automation
Qualifications
Ability to deliver quality work with minimal supervision
Strong time management and organizational skills
Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong collaboration skills and willingness to learn
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Candidates graduating after June 2026 will not be considered.
This onsite entry level role in Birmingham, AL offers compensation typical for entry-level financial services positions in the region.
Relocation will not be provided for this position.
