Overview Tabs is the leading AI-native revenue platform for modern finance and accounting teams. Tabs agents automate the entire contract-to-cash lifecycle, including billing, collections, revenue recognition, and reporting, to help teams eliminate manual work and accelerate cash flow. Tabs is hiring a Sales Engineer based in New York to play an integral role in our pre-sales process helping craft solutions and be a thought partner to both our Go-to-Market organization and our clients. Partner closely with finance and accounting leaders to demonstrate the capabilities of the Tabs platform, focusing on solving business problems and articulating end-to-end workflows.
Responsibilities
Manage pre-sales projects, ensuring the feasibility of proposed solutions and conducting proof-of-concept development in close collaboration with the Implementation team at Tabs to ensure tight alignment with product capabilities.
Support the Go-to-Market team by offering a consultative and solutions-oriented approach in meetings with prospects, and translating those solutions into workflow maps, implementation proposals and other materials and assets.
Provide guidance on integrating Tabs into clients\' broader tech stack, which often involves navigating complex systems like ERP, CRM, and BI tools.
Qualifications
Customer EQ – Genuinely interested in learning about prospects, their businesses, and their challenges. Ability to connect with users/buyers and take a consultative approach to solving customers’ needs.
Commercial Savvy – Strong understanding of commercial dynamics and stakeholder management.
4+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Solutions Architect, or Pre-Sales at a B2B SaaS or fintech company.
Hands-on experience with ERP, CRM, or billing platform integrations in a pre-sales context.
Experience at an early-stage company or in a role where you were building process alongside executing is a strong plus.
Location This role is based in New York City, five days a week at our Soho office.
